Support Negeen Mayel (from the Dearborn Four)

Hey everyone, I wanted to share this opportunity with you. Negeen (the girl who was harassed by Dearborn Police on some trumped up “criminal complaint” and then falsely arrested) is going to college and needs help buying an airplane ticket. If you have PayPal you can help her out by using the widget below. The following is from : http://negeen.chipin.com/negeens-tickets
Fly Negeen to College!
Hey everyone, as most of you already know I have had no family support since I had to leave my Muslim family. I will be attending a Christian University in the fall. I have a scholarship that covers tuition and room/board. But I have to cover other things myself. Right now, I need help with plane tickets to Michigan and Texas where I will be attending college. It’s about 450 bucks. Since the body of Christ is my family now, I’m asking you guys, my brothers and sisters, for help.

VIDEO: Footage of Negeen Mayel’s Harassment by Dearborn Police

In this video: David Wood and Negeen Mayel discuss her arrest. As it turns out the video does not exactly match up with the police report. The footage from her camera starts about 3 minutes and 42 seconds into the video.

Thanks to this video *finally* being released we have a photo of one of the Dearborn policeman who was involved in this false arrest:

One of the arresting officers who lied to Negeen and wrote the ridiculious police report

Another of the same officer:

The man above along with this man (who could possibly be the one from the photograph of David’s arrest) were two of the officers who participated in the false arrests of June 18th:

Another Dearborn Police officer involved in the harassment and false arrests

Arrested on charges of Breach of the Peace are: Negeen Mayel, Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, Paul Rezkalla, and David Wood.  Mayel, an eighteen year old female, whose parents emigrated from Afghanistan and a recent convert from Islam to Christianity, was also charged with failure to obey a police officer’s orders. She was approximately 100 feet away and videotaping a discussion with some Muslims when her camera was seized. Continue reading
