David Wood and Nabeel Qureshi will speak in Fullerton, CA on Sat. 9/11

David Wood and Nabeel Qureshi (two of the Dearborn Four) will be speaking at Our Strong Tower, a one day apologetics conference to be held at 1st Evangelical Free Church in Fullerton CA. David will be speaking on “Muhammad: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” and “The “Crucifixion: Truth or Fiction?” Nabeel will be speaking on “Jesus: Prophet of Allah or Divine Son of God?” and “Is the Qur’an divine?”

Other speakers for the main event will include Pastor George Saieg on “Facing the Challenge.” OST Youth will feature Dr. Cornelius, Ken Sands and Edward Dalcour. OST kids will features a Dawah Puppet Show by the Puppet Ministry of Calvary Chapel Anaheim.

Update to Illegal arrest of 4 Christians in Dearborn, MI

Last week four Christian missionaries were falsely arrested in Dearborn, Michigan. Yesterday their case was taken up by Thomas More Law Center to fight the illegal actions of the Dearborn Police Department and the return of property illegally seized by the Dearborn Police. ANN ARBOR, MI – In what some have described as police enforcement of Sharia law at the annual Dearborn Arab International Festival, last Friday night Dearborn Police Officers arrested four Christian missionaries and illegally confiscated their video cameras which were recording the events surrounding their arrests.  The Thomas More Law Center, a public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, today announced it is representing all of the Christian missionaries.

Arrested on charges of Breach of the Peace are: Negeen Mayel, Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, Paul Rezkalla, and David Wood.  Mayel, an eighteen year old female, whose parents emigrated from Afghanistan and a recent convert from Islam to Christianity, was also charged with failure to obey a police officer’s orders. She was approximately 100 feet away and videotaping a discussion with some Muslims when her camera was seized. Continue reading
