Growth on EOA’s Facebook page
I would like to take this chance to welcome the new folks who have recently become fans on EOA’s Facebook fan page. Most of the new fans are here by invite from my Facebook group I am a Calvinist.
Please feel free to invite your friends who you think might be interested in apologetics. Your comments and participation is welcomed and encouraged. God Bless :)
Here is a snapshot of the number of likes. Notice the spike on the far right side.
New Documents Being added to the Main Site
Howdy all! I’ve been quiet on the blog for a few days because I’ve been focusing on the main site. I mentioned that I had added the Westminster Confession of Faith. I have since added the Baptist Faith and Message, the Nicene Creed, and the Apostles’ Creed.
I have undertaken a somewhat larger task of adding the King James Version and the American Standard Version of the Bible to EOA. So far I have added Genesis and Exodus for each version. In case you are wondering, I don’t regularly use those versions in my theology or apologetic. They are going up because they are not copyrighted. They will be of use for some, but not for others.
Feel free to suggest any other documents whose copyright has expired that I should put up on the site. I’ll do the best I can to get them up there in a timely fashion!

Anonymous Comment: Censorship is evil!

That email address is fake. It is not mine. I do not want to be identified. I want to remain anonymous. Censorship is evil. Is anything I have said wrong? Is anything I have said evil? Is anything I have said contrary to the Bible? Is anything I have said contrary to Faith and reason? Then why do you censor? Unless my comments are posted, I will likely never comment again on your blog, and indeed cease reading it. No skin off your nose. Why should you care? I understand that. You lose nothing (in this life) by censoring me. If you post my other comments, please censor this one. This is private communication to you, about this very censorship issue. All of my other comments (except the question: “Are you censoring me?â€) were intended to be posted. May God bless you, and forgive you all of your sins, both voluntary and involuntary. |
What saddens me is the fact that someday I won’t have time to reply to gems like the comment above. On The Apologist, if you go to About > Comment Policies you will see that I don’t like Anonymous comments. As stated in Rule #3
3. No anonymous comments. I have the gall to use my name. You should too.
Well a while back I began to get comments from a Kenneth J. Hendrickson at the above IP address and consistently using SpamMeSenseless@SittingDuck.com as his email address. I figured “cool, someone is reading my blog. Then he turns psycho.
He posts using the same IP and email, but no name. I approve it anyways, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad, right? He probably forgot to fill in the field. But then come a few more nameless comments from 24.110.213.223. So I email him asking simply to re-post with either a name or a pseudonym and get no reply. Then I see this and reply:
Well, well, well, it turns out that whoever you are believes very strongly that censorship is evil. Personally, I think it is more evil to ignore rule #3, and since I pay for this domain and the server that hosts it I get to make that decision, haha.
I also wonder how posting a comment which anyone could see qualifies as private communication. Are you a ghost from another dimension with a different definition of words like “private” and “policy”? I doubt I’ll ever know the answer to these questions.
To all of my readers with nothing to hide, please comment away and enjoy the website! Kenneth, if that’s your real name… we’ll miss ya!
~ Glenn Hendrickson
